Performance Coaching for Real Life

Helping high-performing adults stay physically strong and consistent when life isn’t predictable.

Delivered through coaching, speaking, and conversations centered on durable habits and execution under pressure.

High performers don’t struggle because they lack motivation. They struggle because their training systems don’t survive real life.

About Me

JARED MARKIEWICZ

Performance Coach | Speaker | Gym Owner | Host of The Human Athlete Podcast

I’m a performance coach with 18+ years of hands-on experience helping high-performing adults stay physically strong and consistent when life gets unpredictable. As the owner of Functional Integrated Training (FIT) in Madison, Wisconsin, my work is grounded in applying strength and performance principles to real people with real demands.

I specialize in helping capable, disciplined individuals build durable physical habits that hold up under pressure—without relying on motivation, perfect routines, or ideal conditions. Beyond the gym, I work selectively through performance coaching, speaking, and hosting The Human Athlete podcast, where I explore the physical and personal challenges of major life transitions.

Performance Coaching

What it is:

Performance Coaching is a focused coaching relationship for high-performing adults who want to stay physically strong and consistent when life isn’t predictable. The focus is not motivation or quick wins, but building durable habits and executing well under real-world pressure.

Who it’s for:
This is a fit for former athletes, leaders, and driven professionals who:
  • Care deeply about their physical performance
  • Struggle with consistency during busy or chaotic seasons
  • Value structure, accountability, and direct coaching
What it delivers:
  • Training habits that hold up when routines break
  • Greater confidence in physical capability
  • Less reliance on motivation and willpower

Clarity Over Chaos. Execution Over Hype

For nearly two decades, I’ve worked directly with athletes, professionals, and leaders who are capable, driven, and overloaded , people who don’t need more motivation, but better structure.

Through performance coaching, I work one-on-one with individuals to build physical consistency, confidence, and energy that holds up when life gets demanding.

Through speaking and education, I help teams and organizations apply the same principles to leadership, culture, and execution under pressure.

This work isn’t about doing more or pushing harder.
It’s about building smarter systems that align effort, discipline, and reflection , so progress continues even when conditions aren’t perfect.
